We understand what you are going through as we've also experienced the loss of someone very dear in our lives...even though every person has to get through a time like this in his or her own way, we know you will also come through. Someday, the pain will ease and the memories will bring comfort. Just as it did with us, soon you'll find yourself getting back into the stream of life. We know.

The Widow and Widowers Dinner Group was established in 1985 for the purpose of friendship, fellowship, and the desire to move on after the death of a loved one. In 2002, the group became known as "A New Beginning" retaining the same purpose. The focus of our organization is to provide widows and widowers with safe, comfortable and reasonably priced leisure opportunities to mix socially with others in the same situation. But, best of all...NO DUES OF FEES. However, the value of having a place to go, or people to be with who just want to have fun and accept each other as they are, cannot be overstated. Our group is structured so that members can be active in planning as well as participating in various social activities. It is great to belong to a group where you can see your involvement make a difference!!! COME JOIN US SOON!!

CARDS...Cards are on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls
