Alfred Zrelak

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alfred J. Zrelak, 86 passed away September 26, 2014. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls and was a life-long resident. He joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. Alfred went on to work as the Managing Director for the Ornamental Window Company, retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Alfred was an avid golfer, boater and bowler.
Preceded in death by his son, John A.; he is survived by his wife, Lois of 62 years; daughters, Diane (Chris) Clinton of Norton, Lynn (Dennis) Armstrong of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Melinda Kathryn and Dennis Armstrong, Jennifer (Mike) Drennon, Sarah, Beth and Anna Clinton; great-grandchildren, Royce and Everett Drennon; sister, Marilyn (Jim) McCafferty .
Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Monday September 29, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday September 30, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223. Father Jim Singler will be officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN, 38101-9908.
