Antonio Sabino

Tony Sabino passed away peacefully in his home on February 7, 2015. His loving family and many friends gathered just last October to celebrate his 90th birthday, a day Tony thoroughly enjoyed.
Tony was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations while stationed in Guam. He retired from Pearl Coffee Company, and enjoyed his years of retirement which included long road trips and trailer camping with his wife, Barbara. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing with his brother and nephews, and was especially proud of a hole-in-one at Sycamore Valley Golf Club. Tony also became a pet lover with a special place in his heart for Gracie and Annie.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Vito and Maria; his wife, Lucy; brother, Sam; sister, Julia and a beloved grandson, Nicholas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Barbara Ann; his daughters, Kathy (Bob) Mattucci; Vicki Sabino; Laurie (Fred) Jarvis; Chris Brenner; and step-sons, Robert (Laurice) Miller and Bill Miller. Also mourning his passing are grandchildren, Anthony (Michelle) Mattucci, Lisa Hunter, Amy (Mike) Hopkins, Andrea (Joe) Meyer, Andrew Jarvis, Jessi Jarvis, Angela Brenner, Jackie Brenner, Lindsey Brenner, Rosalynde Miller; and sister-in-law Marjorie Cossin, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call from 6-9 pm on Wed, February 11 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221 where a funeral service will be held on Thurs, February 12 at 11 am. Friends may also call from 10-11 am prior to the service. Interment Green Lawn Memorial Park. The American Legion Post 281 will give Military Honors.
