CUYAHOGA FALLS - Barbara Boehlke, 74, passed away November 23, 2013.
Barbara was born in Buffalo, NY and graduated from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN. She moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 1979 and was primarily a homemaker to her family. She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and taught various classes including the Bethel Bible course.
Preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Arthur Dallman; brother Arthur Dallman, Jr. and sister, Marion Rengstorf. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Rev. Alvin Boehlke; sons, John (Marti) of Uniontown, Michael (Tina) of Cuyahoga Falls and Andrew (Jenn) of Ravenna; grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Matthew, Danielle, Paige and Alyssa and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls and one hour prior to a Funeral Service conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27 Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 Fifth St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Pastors Keith Johnson and Ryan Honeycutt officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church or Pioneer Christian Camp and Retreat, 9324 Lake Shore Rd., Angola, NY 14006. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
