Barbara Rossi

Tallmadge - Barbara Anne Rossi, 81, after 17 years beating the odds reluctantly lost her battle with cancer. She is accompanied by her beloved 16 year old Pomeranian, Ginger, who stayed with her until the end.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary; daughters, Raphiella (Alan) Adamson of Ft. Mill, SC, Colleen (the late Darrin) Winterowd of Spokane, WA, Stephanie Bendel of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Benjamin Winterowd and Shawna (Kevin) Burge.
She also leaves children that touched her life and friends in the transportation dept. of Cuyahoga Falls Schools.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is planned for a later date. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Hospice C/O Summa Healthcare 75 Arch St. Akron, OH, 44304. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
