She was born in Monessen, PA to John and Anna Lerakis and resided in Akron for the past 62 years. She was employed at Gus's Chalet.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kosta "Gus"; son, Xenophon "Sam" Maistros; brothers, Gus Lerakis and James Lerakis; she is survived by her daughter, Georgia Maistros-Kote (Chris); grandson, Cameron, sister, Angie Skeriotis; sister-in-law, Irma Lerakis and many nieces and nephews in the greater Akron area, Warren and Chios, Greece.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Thursday October 5, 2017 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, the Trisagion Service will begin at 7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM October 6 on Friday at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 129 S Union St. Akron, OH 44304.
In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice 25 S. Main St. Munroe Falls, OH 44262 or The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
