David Cherry

STOW - David O. Cherry, 50, went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on October 19, 2014. He was born in Akron and resided in the Stow and Kent areas for most of his life. Dave enjoyed cars, boating, camping, but most of all spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his father, Robert L; He is survived by his wife, Christy; sons, Michael (Kim), David Jr. (Krista) and Travis (Brianna); daughters, Nicole (David), Angela (Jason) and Michelle; 11 grandchildren; mother, Joyce; sisters, Cathy (Jim), Kim; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 6 PM funeral service on Thursday October 23, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Pastor Ernie Kemppel will be officiating.
His memory will be kept alive by the gifts he shared with his family and friends.
