Douglas Sanders

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Douglas D. Sanders, 58, passed away July 8, 2014. He was born in Akron and was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident. Douglas graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, and then the United Electronics Institute becoming a Master Electrician. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, hiking and fishing.

Preceded in death by his father, David L; he is survived by his mother, Mary E; sisters Diane Beth Sanders of AZ and Lisa A. Sanders of CT; nieces Meghan and Kelsey Hauser; son, Jon (Mara) Waybright; grandchildren, Devin, Gage and Skylah. The family would like to express special thanks to the University Hospital Transplant Team and Akron City Hospice.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be having private services. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home & Crematory, 330-928-2147.
