Edward Huzzard

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Edward H. Huzzard, 71, passed away March 5, 2015. He was born in Pottstown, PA and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 38 years. Edward graduated from Spring-Ford High School and Ursinus College, going onto retire as an office manager from Firestone Rubber Co. after 23 years of service. He enjoyed camping and golfing, but most of all loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Edward was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Newcomers Club and the Tallmadge Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sarah Huzzard; grandmother, Mary Diehl; he is survived by his wife, Linda of 51 years; children, Kelly (Scott) Reed, Edward Jr. and Toni Rich; grandchildren, Heather, Sarah, Lea, Danielle, Jamie and Jessica; great-grandson, Matthew; brother, Robert Huzzard; niece Veronica; nephew, Robbie; mother and father-in-law, Muriel and William Freese.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to an 11 AM celebration of life on Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Tallmadge Lutheran Church 479 East Ave. Tallmadge, OH, 44278. Pastor Andy Alberts and Pastor Zachrich will be officiating. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304 Chicago, Illinois 60611-3201.
