Evelyn Gay Horvatic, 67, passed away on September 21, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Born on August 8, 1945 in Summit County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Ellen Deeflinger Robinson. Evelyn was one of nine children. In school she was a member of the 4-H Club and the Junior Achievement Club. She graduated from Collinsville High School in 1964. She loved to play bingo and go to casinos. Evelyn was devoted to her grandchildren who she loved deeply.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Horvatic. Survivors include son, Patrick and wife Teresa of Hickory; daughters, Vicki Dillon of Ohio, Elizabeth Stout and husband Chester of Claremont; grandchildren, Eric Jason Stout, Seth Stout, Patrick Jason Horvatic, Summer Horvatic, Jamie Neese, Rachel Plichta, Felicia Plichta, and Raymond Plichta; great-grandchildren, Jaydin Lyn Stout, Donavon Neese Jr., Sky Lyn Neese, Brayden Plichta, Anthony Dillon, and Zayden Dorsey.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
