Goldie Rose

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Goldie Rose, 95, passed away January 29th, 2015. She was born in Sutton West Virginia and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 53 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by not only her family, but friends and neighbors whose life she touched. Goldie was an expert seamstress, and a master quilt maker.

Preceded in death by her husband, Austin H.; grandson, Scott; daughter-in-law, Ruth; she is survived by her daughter, Karen (David) Morris; sons, James and Meredith (Sylvia); 4 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Viola Moore. Special thanks to her Angel on Earth, Paula.

Memorial calling will be held from 4-6 PM on Wednesday February 4, 2015 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
