Grace Tanner

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Grace A. Tanner, 89 passed away September 9, 2012 surrounded by her family.
Grace was born in Pennsylvania and has resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She worked as a nurse's aide at Cuyahoga Falls General and several other area hospitals. She was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Bob Appleman Post and was a loving wife and mother to her family.

Preceded in death by parents Edna and Lawrence States; 13 siblings; her husbands, James Vest and Lilburn Marshall Tanner; daughter Beverly Ann French; sons, James and Mark Vest. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Tanner of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Joseph (Candy) Vest of Cuyahoga Falls; eleven grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren and friends.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12. Chaplain Joseph Lee officiating. Final resting place Oakwood Cemetery by her husband's side, Lilburn Marshall Tanner. Arrangements handled by Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
