Jean Sears

KENT- Jean P. Sears, 83, passed away January 13, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born in Akron and resided in the Cuyahoga Falls, Silver Lake area most of her life. Mrs. Sears worked as a lunch room monitor for Roberts Middle School in Cuyahoga Falls, where she earned the nickname the "Hawk".

Preceded in death by her husband, Richard; she is survived by her children, Greg Sears, Jenny (Rich) Nelson, Tammy (Robert) Pinchot, Dena Green; grandchildren, Patrice (Kevin) Root, Ricky Sears, Manuel, Michele, and Mindy Nelson, Mellisa Pinchot, Dena (Andy) Campbell, Chad (Tabitha) Pinchot, Andrew and Alexa Green; great-grandchild, Dylan Campbell.

Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Thursday January 16th in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday January 17th at the Riverwood Community Chapel 1407 Fairchild Ave. Kent, OH, 44240. Pastor Paul Sartarelli will be officiating. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Riverwood Community Chapel. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
