CUYAHOGA FALLS - Jerry Bruce Menasian, 79, passed away January 4, 2014. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 47 years. Jerry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, going onto to work as a teacher and later for Bridgestone/Firestone. He enjoyed golfing, especially with his F.O.G. buddies, and cherished the memories of their many golfing trips together. Jerry loved spending time with his family especially his many grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Danny; he is survived by his children, Deborah, Jerry, Michelle (George) McPherson and Shawna (Steve) Bowen; grandchildren, Tiffany Smith, Destiny Peaden and Destin Pentz; Michael, Adriana and Carly Bowen; and Jacob McPherson; great-grandchild, Jason T. Kelly; siblings, John Menesian and Elizabeth Campbell.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Friday January 9, 2014 and from 9-10 AM on Saturday January 10 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday January 10. Dr. Richard Hasler will be officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's association. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
