Joy Stones

SILVER LAKE, OH -Joy Stones, 82, passed away April 10, 2015 in Ocala, FL. Mrs. Stones was born in Akron and had resided in Silver Lake since 1985, moving there from Cuyahoga Falls. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and was a life master duplicate bridge player. She was an avid bridge player, golfer, bowler and reader.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack; daughters and sons-in-law, Jenifer and Kevin Beattie of Cuyahoga Falls and Janice and Albert Ray of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Patrick (Abby) Beattie, Albert (Christy) Ray and Katie (Brian) Freeman; great-grandsons, Alex Ray, Brian Freeman and Jack Beattie and other extended family.

Cremation has taken place. The Family will greet friends Tuesday, April 28 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Private inurnment will take place in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Development Fund.
