Judi Martz

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Judi Martz, 76, passed away at her residence September 15, 2013. Mrs. Martz was born and raised in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 49 A½ years. She retired as an RN at St. Thomas and Akron City Hospitals and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary. She loved puzzles, peanut butter cups and grandma juicy and enjoyed lighthouses and their cabin at Lake Erie.

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Erma (Krutel) Schneider and brother, Jack Schneider, she is survived by her husband of 49 A½ years, Bill; children, David (Diane) Martz, Patricia Ann (Ryan) Case and Mary Beth (Tony Jr.) Contessa, all of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Jessie Contessa (fiancAC.e Jon Brown), Mathew Contessa, Samantha Murray, Nicole Murray and Ryan Case; brother, Ronnie (Betty) Schneider of Cuyahoga Falls and sister, Rita Vargo of Boston.

The Family will greet friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday Sept. 18 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be10:00 am Thursday Sept. 19 in Immaculate Heart of Mary, Celebrant Father James Singler. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 North Main St. P.O. Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-6153.
