Myrtle Couch

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Myrtle "Audrey" Couch, 87, passed away at her residence August 18, 2013. Mrs. Couch was born in Northampton and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She was a member of the Salvation Army, was very active as leader of the Home League for many years and helped in delivering Mobile Meals with her husband.

Preceded in death by her son, Gary C., granddaughter, Teri Couch and sister, Norma Fleshman, she is survived by her husband of 68 years, Andrew; daughters, Audrey Jo Brady (Jim) of Coshocton and Carol Moore (Ken) of Cuyahoga Falls; twin-sons, Andrew A. (Sally) and Dale B (Cheryl) both of Copley; son Thomas D. (Barbara) of Richfield; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and sisters, Vida Leaver of Green; and Sylvia Tisch of Cuyahoga Falls.

The Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 21 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 22 in Akron Citadel Salvation Army, 190 S. Maple St. Akron, OH 44302, Major Tom Grace officiating. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army of Akron and Wadsworth or Mobile Meals.
