Thomas Washell

FLORIDA - Thomas E. Washell, 79, passed away in Winter Haven, Florida, on January 4, 2014; he was born on March 29, 1935 in Beccaria, Pennsylvania, and was the son of Andrew J. and Pauline M. Washell. He worked at General Motors for over 30 years retiring in1995 and served in the United States Army receiving an honorable discharge in 1964.

He is survived by his loving companion, Elaine Shevlin; his step-daughter, Marci Wenzel; his brothers and sisters, Eileen Syktich, John, William (Elaine), Robert (Judy) and Janet (Paul) Havener; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, son, Thomas; daughter, Nancy; father, Andrew; mother, Pauline and brother, Andrew.
He was dearly loved and cherished by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Friends may call one hour prior to an 11 AM funeral service on Saturday January 10, 2014 at the Chapel at Northlawn Memorial Gardens 4724 State Rd. Peninsula, OH, 44264. Fr. Kevin Elbert will be officiating. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 330-928-2147.
