Daniel Lee Miller, 61, of Peninsula Ohio passed away on August 8th from cancer. He was born on June 26, 1957 to Nancy Miller of Peninsula and the late Grover Miller in Vancouver, Washington. He graduated from Woodridge High School, class of 1975.
Dan is survived by his daughter Liz Stroup (Jesse) of Bath, son, Mason Marshall of Hartville, and granddaughters Aria and Scarlett Stroup, brothers Guy Miller and Jim Miller of Peninsula, sisters, Karen (Bill) Ahl of Fernadina Beach, FL, Judith Doyle of Cuyahoga Falls, Lisa Marshall of Hartville, and Lori (Jeff) Deming of Davidson, North Carolina as well as extended family and many friends.
Dan’s passion was his music. He loved playing his guitar and playing with his friends and brother. He loved good food and cooking and loved his family. He was skilled at masonry work but could do about anything. He was a character and many people were drawn to that crazy personality.
Calling hours will precede the service on Monday, August 13th starting at 11:00 a.m. and the service will begin at 1 p.m. at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 with Pastor Steve Bucy from The Chapel officiating.
