Adeline Jacobs

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Adeline M. Jacobs, 92, passed away December 13th, 2014. Mrs. Jacobs was born in Akron and was a long time resident of Cuyahoga Falls. She was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Adeline thoroughly enjoyed her last 6 years at Mulberry Gardens where she embraced the camaraderie and activities while she resided there, and was pleased to call it her home away from home.

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles F.; parents, Henry and Eugenia Bihler, and son-in-law, Arnie Shiflett. She is survived by her 8 daughters, Lynda (Luke) Tucker of Doylestown, Jeannie Shiflett of N. Carolina, Denise (Dave) Lunge of Ontario, Canada, Debbie (Bill) Blue of S. Carolina, Charlene (Mark) Houser of Kinsman, Ohio, Rhonda (Doug) Hendrock of Silver Lake, Sandy (Jerry) Heffernan of Stow, and Tari Morgan (Karl VanBrimmer) of Stow; 18 loving grandchildren and 11 adorable great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Friday, December 19th, in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, located at 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 20th, at St. Eugene's. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association: 70 West Streetsboro St. Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236.
