Bernard was born in Akron and was a life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He enjoyed racing, fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, and spending time at his property down south. He and his father are the owners of B and B Towing in Cuyahoga Falls for the last 43 years. He was a passionate employer, treating his employees like family.
He is survived by wife, Cheryl; mother, Shirley Miller; father and step-mother, Bernard D. and Jeannette Mason; mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Rubbie Daiger; sisters, Lynn (Brian) Messner and Gracie (Edward) Rudder, step-siblings, Larry Haught and Lora Haught; sister-in-law, Sherri Daiger; children, Justin, Cory (Chloe), Kyle, Alison, and Ryan Mason; granddaughter, Madelyn and Olive Mason; best friend, Eddie (Stephanie) Lee; loyal companion, Sammy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to Cross Roads Hospice 1742 Georgetown Rd. Ste. J Hudson, OH 44236. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
