CUYAHOGA FALLS - Leora "Lee" Canfield, 90, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on December 7, 2017.
She was born in Meadow Creek, WV to Carlos and Odessa (Richmond) Ferguson and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 67 years. Lee enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Palmer R. of 53 years; she is survived by her son, Christopher (Patty) of Dover; daughter, Christine (Gary) Gilson of Suffield; grandson, Christian Canfield; sister, Mary Seibel; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call one hour prior to an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday December 11, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. Father James Singler will be officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Father McIntyre Fund at IHM. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
