Alexandria Kemper Hyatt

Alexandria Kemper Hyatt, a beautiful, quirky, brilliant soul, was called to Heaven unexpectedly on July 24, 2023, while vacationing with her beloved husband Christopher.  From the time Alex was born, on November 25, 1989, until her passing, she touched countless lives with her fun-loving personality, loved her family deeply, improved the lives of many precious cats, and worked hard to ensure people were seen and treated with equality.  Alex was especially passionate about supporting and fighting for the rights of women and Native Americans.

Alex was a graduate of Our Lady of the Elms, class of 2008 and went on to study Microbiology at the University of Akron.  A self-professed “science nerd”, Alex also had eclectic taste in music, enjoyed anime and Guardians baseball, and spending time with her dearly loved brother, Mason.

Alex met the love of her life, Christopher Hyatt and they married on May 17, 2017.  Their loving bond was only strengthened and unified more fully with the birth of their cherished son, Benjamin.

Along with husband, Christopher and son, Benjamin, Alex will be deeply missed by her mother and stepfather, Victoria Kemper and Paul Baker; brother, Mason Kemper; mother-in-law, Deborah Hyatt (Dan Simmons); and special feline friend, “Obsidian”, along with numerous extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and sister-in-law, Mamie Hyatt.

Guests are welcome to visit with the family from 5-7 pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  Private family services will be held and she will be laid to rest at Mount Peace Cemetery, Akron, OH.
