Allyson Marie Steinwedel, 46, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8th, 2025. Born on July 26, 1979, in Akron, Ohio, Allyson brought warmth, laughter, and light wherever she went — qualities that made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her.
A proud graduate of Woodridge High School, Allyson went on to work for 13 years at Giant Eagle Market District as a pharmacy technician. Her coworkers and customers alike admired her kind heart, her dependability, and her ability to brighten even the busiest days with her cheerful spirit.
Allyson found joy in the simple, beautiful things — days spent at the beach soaking in the sun, kayaking on the water, hiking through nature, or getting lost in a good book. Music was a constant companion, and Noah Kahan often set the soundtrack to her favorite moments. More than anything, she treasured time with her family and her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Amma.” That title was her greatest joy.
She will be deeply missed by her father, James Bibler; sister, Angela Phillips; children, Owen, Isaac, and Anna Steinwedel; her three cherished grandchildren; and her loyal dog, Gypsy. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bibler; brother, Christopher Bibler; and brother-in-law, Justin Phillips.
To those who knew her, Allyson was a true ray of sunshine — always ready with a smile, a laugh, or a word of comfort. Fittingly nicknamed “Sunshine Happy Pants,” she had a gift for finding brightness in every situation and sharing it freely with those around her. Her warmth and light will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
Cremation has taken place, and her family will remember her with love.
