CUYAHOGA FALLS - Alma Mae Eckenrode, 93, passed away October 30, 2004.
Born in Altoona, PA, she came to Cuyahoga Falls in 1975. She had worked for Sylvania Electric in Altoona, was a homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by husband Lawrence and son Daniel, Alma is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Vincent and Joanne Eckenrode of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Yvette and Charles Hear of Brazil, IN; grandchildren Laura Ann (Greg) Skok, Maureen (Robert) Kascak, Gregg South, Kathy (David) Kist, Daniel (Lori) Eckenrode, Doreen (Tom) Griffith, Justin, Joshua and Jonathan Enos; 15 great grandchildren:;and 1 great great grandchild.
Friends may call at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A committal service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Altoona, PA at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The family wishes to thank the staff from Healthhaven (now St. Luke-Portage Lakes) for their care of Alma.
