Andrew Carnes

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Andrew J. Carnes, 23, died July 27, 2004. Born in Akron, he was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls his entire life, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1999. He was employed as a roofer for JDK Roofing and had served with the U. S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division and had received his Wings of Honor for Paratrooping.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Cora Rosebell Shepherd and paternal grandfather and grandmother, Russell R. and Blythe E. Carnes, he is survived by his father and step-mother, Glenn and Margie Carnes of Cuyahoga Falls; mother, Flo Carnes of Stow; loving brother, Reid (Melanie Sines) Carnes of Uniontown; grandmother, Virginia Carnes of Cuyahoga Falls; fiancee, Gwendolyn Tepper of Stow; special niece, Coral Blythe; uncles, Lloyd (Becky) Shepherd, Ben (Jan) Shepherd, Ramizi (Cathy) Shepherd, John (Brenda) Shepherd, Brad (Sue) Shepherd, Kelly (Villja) Shepherd and Toby Shepherd; aunts, Kenra (Mick) Tyger, Bobbie (Guy) Shemwell, Pam (Terry) Coleman, Becky (Joe) Hiner, Ann (Mike) Barrett; special aunt, Barbara Egger; step-aunt, Bonnie (Donald) Hutchison and numerous loving cousins and special friends.

Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, Pastor Lloyd D. Shepherd officiating. Friends may also call beginning at 1:00 pm Friday. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
