Anna H. Roose, a longtime resident of Munroe Falls and, in recent years, Stow, passed away peacefully at the age of 92.

Born in Cuyahoga Falls on January 22, 1934, Anna was the beloved daughter of the late William Pete and Edith (Criswell) Hawley. She was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and dedicated 23 years of service as an Instructor’s Assistant at the former Summit DD Weaver School and Workshop, where she touched many lives through her kindness and steady presence.

Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband, E. Kenneth Roose and her siblings.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, James K. (Ellen) Roose and Marjorie (Ken) Brown; her cherished grandchildren, Hannah (James) Graham, Ethan Roose (Mona Weiss) and Adam (Betsy) Brown; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Elliot, and Brayden Graham and Lucy Brown; great nieces, Sydney Buchanan and Emily Sien; as well as many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

A brief service celebrating Anna’s life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4724 State Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
