Annetta “Gram” Chess was a kind, simple and sweet woman. She was first and foremost a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all. Annetta was always kind and caring for others. She never asked for anything but always did for others. She cared for family, friends and even strangers. She loved cooking for her family and always made sure no one went hungry. She loved her lipstick and was always put together, she was quite the lady. She lived a long and meaningful life and touched the lives of many. Annetta was strong and resilient despite her own hardships. She will be truly missed. Hopefully, we all learned from her lessons in kindness and caring for others. The world can use more Annetta’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, son David and sisters Tressa, Loretta, Regina, Donna, and Genevieve. She is survived by her son Robert Jr. (Paula), granddaughters Carol Frye (Joel), Lori Namolik, Rita Hayes (Mike), grandson David, great granddaughters Nina, Nadia, Mia, Lola and Audrey and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Per the family's request, private services will be held.
