CUYAHOGA FALLS-Arlen Miller,84, passed away on April 10, 2024.  Arlen was born on August 12, 1939, in McAlevy’s Fort, Pennsylvania, son of the late Albert and Madeline Miller.  He relocated to Ohio in 1964 yet always considered he and Sue part of the history of “the valley”.

As a devout Christian, he led a life of a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, mentor, and role model.  Arlen forever impacted the lives of the countless many, humbly, under the grace of God.   He was a proud West Point graduate serving in two tours of Vietnam before resigning his commission as a Captain Major of the Army Rangers to dedicate his life to family.  Arlen also spent time teaching ROTC at the University of Akron, was involved in many community organizations and was a dedicated mentor and member of AA for 34 years.  His hobbies and love of life included the game of golf, fishing trips with his children and grandchildren, family beach gatherings, endless hikes with his golden retrievers, storytelling and sharing life experiences.  He will forever be missed as he was loved by many and left an imprint on everyone he touched until the day he passed.
