Barbara Brendle-Smith

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Barbara Brendle-Smith, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Thursday March 23, 2023. Barbara retired from Saint Thomas Hospital. To Barbara family meant everything. She loved serving her family through the ups and downs of life, Barbara especially loved her grandkids.

Proceeded in death by daughter, Cathy Markwalder; son, Johnny Brendle and son in law, Terry Shover.

She will be missed by her loving daughters, Paula (Alan) DelSavio, Janet Shover; son in law, John Markwalder; daughter in law, Pauline Brendle; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Continuing Healthcare and a special thanks to Buckeye Hospice. There are truly angels on earth, Mike, Brenda, Rev. Terry, and their team. She is now safe with Jesus and is still uptight and out of sight.

Per Barbara’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
