Bernard Dwane Mason

Bernard D. Mason, 90, passed away on July 22, 2025. Bernard was born on March 8, 1935, to the late Coralee and Zona Mason. He was a 1954 graduate of Tyler County High School. After high school Bernie went on to serve his nation in the United States Army. His dedication to serving others did not end there he was always wanting to help people. This is why he owned B and B Auto Service and Towing. Bernie was a member of the F.O.P.A. , Shriners, Masons, and he was even the Past Master of Star Lodge 117. Bernie left a long legacy of helping others and loving his family.

He is preceded in death by his son Bernie A. Mason.

Bernie will be missed by his wife of 45years Marion “Jeannette”; children, Gracie, Lynn (Brian), Lora (Jim), Larry; Grandchildren, Matt, Julie, Kellie, Justin, Cory, Kyle, Alison, Ryan, Heather, Ryan; sisters, Patricia Goehler, Linda Treadway, Sara Sabatino; and many other family and friends.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
