Bonnie L. Hunter, 76, passed away on July 20, 2026. She was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late David and Rose Lee (née Jackson) Blauch. Bonnie resided mostly in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1967. She later attended various classes at Kent State University and The University of Akron.
Bonnie began her career in secretarial work before becoming a real estate agent, working for several companies in the industry. She had a lifelong love of animals, sharing her home with many beloved pets over the years, most notably dogs, but also a variety of other companions.
Bonnie enjoyed dancing, practicing Tai Chi, reading, listening to books, watching television programs, and wearing her many hats, affectionately earning the nickname "Hatlady." Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Rose Lee Blauch, as well as many beloved pets.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kristina (Eric) Armbruster; special cousins, Viki Jackson Hoelzer and Harold Jackson; close friends, Suzanne Stanich and Diane Townsend-Tompkins; her beloved kitties; and her extended family.
Private interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of other remembrances, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
