Brenda Louise Long

Brenda Louise Long, 72, of Stow, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026. Born on April 5, 1954, in Charleston, West Virginia, Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who lived her life putting others first.

Brenda worked as a school health aide at Seaton Catholic, where her caring nature made a lasting impact on the students and staff she supported. She was known as the rock of her family. Someone who would do anything for anyone, always offering love, support, and a steady presence to those around her.

Her grandson, Caleb, was truly her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with him. Brenda often spoke of “all my boys” with deep affection, a reflection of the love she carried for her family. She also had a special love for Christmas, embracing the joy, warmth, and traditions that came with the season.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Toothman, and her brothers, Chuckie and Robbie Toothman.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Johnny Long; her children, Charles Long and Tina Long; her grandson, Caleb Long; her sisters, Sandra Stafford, Debrah Bauer, and Mona Lachovych; and her brother-in-law, Gary Stafford.

Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed by her family, her church community at Lighthouse Church, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A private graveside service will be held for the family. All are welcome to attend a celebration of life on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Christian Church, 315 Graham Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
