Brian Pennino, Jr.

KENT- Brian Pennino, Jr. was born on April 27, 1989, in Akron, OH, to Brian and Brenda Pennino. Brian transitioned to eternal rest on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 2007 and attended The University of Akron. Brian loved baseball and was a stellar athlete, breaking many records in the sport. He loved snowboarding and was a major Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.

Brian was an excellent cook and he enjoyed preparing unique meals. He had knack for making people laugh, and was known for his lighthearted, witty personality.
There were two stars in Brian's life that glowed brighter than any others, his sons, Luca and Cruz. His athleticism is already shining inside them.
Brian was preceded in death by Grandfather, Samuel Pennino, Uncle Sam Pennino, and Aunt Barb Bates.

He is survived by his wife, Jasmine; sons, Luca Allen Pennino and Cruz Ellis Pennino; Father, Brian (Denise) Pennino Sr.; Mother, Brenda Pennino; Sister, Erica (Derek) Smith: Step-sister, April Dujanovic: Maternal Grandparents: Kenneth and Dorothy Bates; Paternal grandmother, Violet Pennino; Uncles Jim (Phyllis) Pennino, Frank (Deb) Pennino, and Brett Bates; Nieces, Samantha Smith, Gianna Smith; and Nephew, Derek Smith, Jr.; Special Cousins, Nicholas (Jocelyn) Pennino, Daniel (Sarah) Pennino, Bob Bates, Kenneth (Jessica) Bates, and Amanda (Joe) Tabeling; Step-niece and nephew, Amber and Aaron Britton. Brian will be missed by many friends and colleagues.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 26 at the First United Methodist Church 245 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
