Carol Sue Wiegandt

Carol Sue Wiegandt, 88, a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026.

Carol was born on December 22, 1937, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Robert Lemke and Edna Kline . She devoted many years to caring for others in her work as a medical assistant and was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Carol enjoyed crafting and had a special talent for floral design; she especially loved orchids.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Adam Wiegandt, Sr., and son, David Wiegandt. She leaves behind her children, Adam Wiegandt, Jr. (Sheila), and Mike Wiegandt (Susan), who will carry her memory forward with love. She will also be deeply missed by grandchildren, Erica, Mike Jr., Rachel, and Charles Wiegandt; great-grandchildren, Christian Wiegandt, Olivia Reed, and Lilly and Odin Wiegandt; siblings, Carl "Skip" Lemke and Faith Witzel, and many extended family members.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 2121 6th St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with visitation at 10 am, followed by a memorial service at 11 am. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
