Concettina Papes

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Concettina “Connie” Papes, 91, passed away January 6, 2019. She was born in Pennsylvania and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 18 years. Connie was a “Rosie the Riveter” working for Goodyear Aircraft during WWII. She enjoyed traveling the U.S., baking and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Preceded in death by her brother, John Lentini; she is survived by her husband of 57 years Paul J.; son, Paul J. Jr (Becky).; sisters, Josephine Venet and Marietta Asente; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Wednesday January 9, 2019 in the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday January 10 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
