Connie Walker

Constance (Connie) Walker, 84, of Mogadore, Ohio, passed away on April 2 surrounded by her family, after a very brief illness.

Connie leaves behind her husband, Fred, of 32 yrs. She also leaves behind her children; the Kim (late Paul) Wood Family, Scott (Celeste) Thayer Family, Kelly (Matt) Burdette Family, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The Walker families she leaves behind are the Karen Muster Family, Mary (Jim) Hylton Family, Deb Walker Family, Lori Bowers Family, and Cathy Young Family, and 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. And a HUGE amount of friends.

Connie was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Skip and Alma Sawyer. She raised her children and resided in Cuyahoga Falls then moved to Mogadore.

Her passions were her kids and their kids, enjoying travel in 5th wheel style across the country, (including Alaska) sport events, concerts, thrifting, family picnics and wildlife. She will be forever remembered for her giving to others, sense of humor, her Love of (Kevin) Cavs basketball, the beach, and GH.

Graveside service has taken place in Indiana, PA. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
