Craig R Harter

Craig R. Harter, 75, passed away on January 28, 2026. He was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Robert E. and June V. Harter and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. He served his country in the U.S. Army, assigned to the 2nd Mibars. Craig was stationed in Germany, where he performed photo interpretation and analysis.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University. After his schooling he spent 8 years teaching English as a 2nd language in Weifeng and Jenin, China. He went on to work as a Bankruptcy Coordinator and Loan Officer for Bank One before their merger with Chase bank.

Craig is survived by his sister, Roberta “Bobbie” Myers of Mineral City, OH, niece, Michelle Myers; and nephews, Mark Myers and Michael Myers.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday Feb. 3, 2026 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Cancer Club or the American Red Cross.
