Daniel Adkinson

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Daniel F. "Big Dan W8DFA" Adkinson, 74, passed away March 1, 2016.

Born in Ravenna and resided Cuyahoga Falls. He was a 1960 graduate of Ravenna High School going on to serve his country in the U.S.A.F. Dan retired from General Motors (Lordstown) with 30 years of service. He was a Ham Radio Operator, enjoyed fishing and above all loved his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Joseph Soudil; he is survived by his sons, Daniel T., Robert J. (Sonja) and Christopher S. "Buster"; grandchildren, Joshua, Cody, Cyle and Zoey; brother, Clifford Soudil; sister, Barbara Soudil Niemiller; and former wife, Linda; and daughter- in-law, Rita Kalla; best friend, Jim (Beth) Rader.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Sunday March 5th 2017 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday March 6th.
