Daniel James Houston
Daniel James Houston, 83, passed away March 29, 2026. He was born in Akron to the late James and Ruth (nee Reynolds) Houston. Daniel grew up in Tallmadge and resided in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. He had a strong faith and was a firm believer in Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Patricia English; he is survived by his wife, Julie; son, Alex Houston; siblings, Phil (Teri) Houston, Barb (Carl) Crites and Kendra Chambers; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 AM on Saturday, April 4, 2026 with a memorial service following at 10am at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
