David Henry

David C. Henry, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on December 17, 2021 at the age of 72.  David was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate of Highland High School.  He retired from USF Holland with almost 30 years of service, and was proud to receive an honor for driving 3 million miles incident free.  David was an avid fisherman, and also enjoyed hunting.  Above all else, he loved his wife June and their family.  He was outgoing, kind, and a devoted family man. David was a faithful Christian of 50 years and was proud to serve as an elder in the Lord's Church. He will be truly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Veronica (Trent) Henry, and sister-in-law, Anna Henry.

David leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 52 years, June Henry; children, Rebecca (Jimmy) Fields, Jennifer (Jason) Schlarb and Sara (Ryan) Kintz; grandchildren, Jimmy (Jade) Fields, Katrina Kintz, Samuel Fields, Abigail Kintz, Adrianna and Joshua Schlarb; brothers, Ray and Tom Henry; niece, Debbie Campbel, along with many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  The funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at 6 pm, also at the funeral home.
