CUYAHOGA FALLS – David L. Warner, 74, passed away May 19, 2021. He was born in Pickle St. Unincorporated, WV to the late Lyle and Gladys Warner and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. Dave was a Vietnam era veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972.  He was a proud member of Teamster Local 348 Warehouse Food and Commercial Workers. Dave was employed at Betsy Ross Foods, Peter J. Schmidt and Apples Grocery Warehouse.

He was preceded in death by brother, James L. (Betty) Warner, sisters, Louise; Linda(Ronald) Rix and brother in law, Joe Melvin.

Dave was just a good ole boy who liked to drink beer, tell jokes and drive his blue truck. He enjoyed golfing, camping with family and friends, loved the outdoors and had a special love of animals. He was the Cleveland Browns and Indians number one fan.

Dave leaves behind wife of 40 years, Mary. Children, Kim Weyand, David (MaryJo) Warner, Paula White, Bryan (Kelly) Warner. Brother Duane (Martha); sister, Louella; brother-in-law, Ronald Morris and brother and sister-in-law, Mike (Darlene) Costill. Grandchildren, Thad Weyand, Gabriel Weyand fiancé Caleb Mastin, Alex Harmon, Sam Harmon, Madison Harmon fiancé Brennan O’Connell and Brody Warner. Along with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery 2420 Oakwood Dr. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Falls Firefighters and Community Society Inc. P.O. Box 1022 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 or Summit County Humane Society 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087.

Arrangements entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
