Edna Haenny

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Edna Mae Haenny, 88, passed away May 8, 2006. Mrs. Haenny was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of her life. She was a retired sales clerk for the M. O'Neil Co. and was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Laurel in 1967, parents, Glen H. and Nina Vaughn, sisters, Evelyn Zimmerman and Adelaide M. Vaughn and brother, Nelson Vaughn and is survived by her nephew, William (Leonie) Zimmerman and great-nephew, Jean Pierre Zimmerman, all of Haimbach, Germany.
The family would like to express special thanks to caregivers, Marion and Bill Hitchcock, Nancy and Frank Reed and Bill and Jeanne Jobe and all the staff at Falls Village Retirement Community for the exceptional care and concern.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Stephen Gehlert officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery.
