Edwin Charles Kirstatter

CUYAHOGA FALLS- Edwin Charles Kirstatter, 96, passed away January 21, 2024. He was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls Resident graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1945. Edwin was a WWII veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army.  He worked as an electronic technician for Schrader Bellow.

He was an avid railroad and automotive enthusiast and was a member of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, B&O Railroad Historical Society, Akron Canton Youngstown Railroad Historical Society, Northern Ohio Railway Museum, Cuyahoga Valley Railroaders, Antique Automobile Club of America, Goodyear Antique Auto Club and the Early Ford V8 Club of America.    

Preceded in death by his wife, Geneva; and his brother, Frank.  He is survived by his children, Patricia Fisher (Lee), Ronald McCauley (Kyung Hee), Cheryl Gifford (Edward), and 5 Grandchildren.  

Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Monday January 29, 2024 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 11 AM
