Elsie Garner

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Elsie Garner, 91, passed away August 1, 2016. She was born in Alto, TN and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 64 years. Elsie was a loving mother and grandmother and was a friend to all. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for the family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rye; she is survived by her sons, Cal of Cuyahoga Falls, Mel of Columbus; Jim (Janie) of Akron and Phil of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Allison, Bradley and Trevor; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 8 step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Wednesday August 3, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday August 4.
