Emily Cooper Welty

Emily Cooper Welty, 81, passed away April 22, 2023 in Asheville, North Carolina.

Emily Cooper was born October 14, 1941 in Bellevue, Ohio to Samuel and Louise Cooper. Raised in Bowling Green, she was a graduate of Wittenberg college.

Pursuing love and family, she married Jerry Welty and moved to Cuyahoga Falls. There they opened their home and hearts to two adopted children, Chad and Monica. She continued to follow her dreams all the way to the Blue Ridge mountains where she spent her final years.

She is survived by her two children and three grandchildren.

Emily will be laid to rest privately at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made to the Welty family foundation.
