Eric "Rick" Carlson

Cuyahoga Falls- Eric “Rick” R. Carlson, 78, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024. 

Rick was born on July 8, 1946, to the late Eric and Esther Carlson. He was a machinist for National Machine, Stow for over 30 years. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army infantry division and was a combat veteran of Vietnam. 

Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and was a champion bowler. He was a former member of the Pine Valley Hunting Club. He was also involved with the VFW, post 3383.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara; daughter, Julie; step-daughter, Haley; grandchildren, Tyler and Lena; numerous friends and his beloved dog, Ruby Ann.

He was preceded in death by parents; first wife, Cynthia; sister, Sandra; and brother, Richard.
