Ethel Pennell

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ethel Jean Pennell, 89, passed away February 5, 2015.

Jean was born in Cuyahoga Falls to Joseph and Myrtle Robb. She lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, worked at Goodyear Aircraft and retired from the Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education. She was a lifelong member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and dancing, needlework, music and traveling.

Preceded in death by her husbands Russell Brown and Wilford "Bill" Pennell and ten brothers and sisters, she is survived by her children, Bernard (Linda Cotton) Brown of Aurora, CO, and Peggy (Douglas, Sr.) Schuler; step-children, Sharon Page, John Pennell, Linda Latham and Julie Rebuck and 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls and one hour prior to the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13 in the United Presbyterian Church, 2819 Hudson Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Rev. J. Ross Slaughter officiating.
