CUYAHOGA FALLS-Francis Thomas “Butch” Moles, 88, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on March 17, 2023.
He was born January 26 1935 in Akron Ohio to the late Ethel and Roy Moles.
Francis was also preceded in death by his siblings Roy, Dale, Robert, Ralph, Dorothy, Gerald, Marjorie, Herman, and Carol.
He will be missed by his loving wife Hiroko, daughter Rosemary Campbell, son Mark (Kelli) Moles, daughter Tina VanMeter-Baker (Ed), son John Moles, and daughter Theresa (Michael) Dobersztyn; His grandchildren, Charles Campbell, Kyle (Sarah) Moles, Taylor (Nick) Walker, Thomas (Jessica) Van Meter, Nathan (Kate) Van Meter, and Clayton Ralston, and his Great Grandchildren, Jayce, Aislee, Kyler, Luke, Lily, Jordy, Ellie and Miller; as well as several nieces, nephews and good friends. He is also survived by his youngest brother Larry D Moles.
Francis was a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He was a 1953 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and he began his career with the Fred Albrecht Grocery company until he was sent to Japan to serve his country. It is here that he met and married his wife of 63 years Hiroko. They returned to Cuyahoga Falls where they established their family, and he returned to work for the Albrecht Company as a National Account Manager 44 years. “Butch” was an avid sports fan and he loved nothing more than watching his children and grandchildren grow through their chosen sport or hobby. He was a past Cuyahoga Falls Little League Baseball President and was also active within the community dedicating his time to those who served by being a member of the American Legion Post 281 as an Honor Guard. He loved his country and he gave his all.
Sincere gratitude is extended to his doctors at Western Reserve Hospital and to the Cuyahoga Falls EMS for his personalized care and compassion provided to him.
A visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm on March 23, 2023 and immediately following the visitation there will be a funeral service at 12pm. Both the visitation and funeral service will be at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Burial to take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
