George John Ryerson

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George John Ryerson of Akron, Ohio. Born June 7, 1947 in Berea, OH, he passed away October 19, 2022 at the age of 75.

He was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Marian Eldridge; father, John A. Ryerson and granddaughter, Jacqualynn Louise Glass.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Victoria Mace, son and daughter, Richard John Ryerson and Kathryn Louise Smith (Matthew), grandchildren, Justin Tylar Glass (Kathryn Sue), Jorden Elizabeth Smallwood (Tyler Martin), Alexis Rose Knauff and Tyler Edward Knauff, along with his great-grandchildren, Hazel Grace Smallwood, Evelyn Rose Smallwood and Jameson Tylar Glass.

The family will be having private services. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home.
